Jim Deuschle

Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jim Deuschle is responsible for Rich’s financial leadership, planning, reporting and information systems and oversees Rich’s Global Supply Chain and Risk Management teams.

A Rich’s associate since 1994, Jim has a deep background managing all financial groups, strategic business planning, risk assessment and internal investments and acquisitions. He began his career at Rich’s as Director of Internal Audit and was named Corporate Controller in 1995. In 1999, he was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Planning and Business Development to oversee financial planning, strategic business planning and acquisition integration.

Jim started his career at EY (formerly Ernst & Young) where he was responsible for planning and executing audits for a range of manufacturing and service-driven clients.

A certified New York State public accountant, Jim earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College and an executive MBA from the University at Buffalo. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Management Program, which brings together political and business leaders from around the world.


Boards & Leadership

Jim serves as a member of the board of trustees for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western New York and serves as treasurer for the West Buffalo Charter School. He is also a member of the Canisius College Council of Accountancy, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
