As General Manager of Marketing, Sales and Culinary, Pankaj Jain drives product development and maximizes sales by bringing greater understanding of applications, potential and attributes. He also leads the development of culinary expertise and skills across the organisation.
Since joining Rich’s in 2001 as manager of technical services, Pankaj has taken on various roles with increasing importance. During his tenure, he has served in key positions, from culinary manager in 2007 to corporate chef in 2011, where he headed the Pan-India Culinary team. He earned his current General Manager role in 2014.
Pankaj earned his Hotel Management degree from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai. He then joined the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai as a kitchen management trainee.
He went on to earn his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. He is also a certified professional chef from the Culinary Institute of America.
Pankaj and his wife, Jyoti, are based in Pune and have two young children. Pankaj is an avid traveller with a keen interest in Indian classical music.
